Perl MOORE was born in Leavenworth County, Kansas, Sept. 28, 1879, passed from this life at his home in Jefferson County, Kansas, at the age of 61 years. He was united in marriage with Ella KNOWLTON, Dec. 22, 1909, to which union were born 4 children. At about the age of 35 he untied with the Baptist church in McLouth, in which he remained a faithful member until about 3 years ago when he united with the Friends church at Stanwood, and there he was a faithful worker for his Lord. He was loved by his friends and neighbors and was always a devoted husband and father. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Ella MOORE, one son, Melvin MOORE of the home, three daughters, Mrs. Walter WILEY, El Segundo, California; Mrs. George AMBLER, McLouth, and Mrs. Clifford MATHENY, Paola, Kansas; 3 grandchildren; his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.P. MOORE, 2 brothers and sister, Mrs. Henry BORST, Frank MOORE and Lawrence MOORE of McLOUTH, a sister Mrs. Alex BRADFORD of Powell, Wyoming, a sister, Mrs. W.M. FRAZIER, Shawnee, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Harry TROWER, Manhattan, Kans.; a brother Mr. Edgar MOORE, Leavenworth, Kansas, and a number of niece! s and nephews, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.
