Surnames: Ragan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fm.2ADE/221 Message Board Post: I am looking for ideas - I have an ancestor that family legend says died of pneumonia during the Civil War, when he served on the Confederate Army, in Fort Leavenworth, KS. I have searched high and low for him, and can find mention in census records, but cannot find Military Records - Union or Confederate - or a death record for him. Is there some consolidated list of deaths from 1860 -1864 for Leavenworth? Or any where else I could look? I appreciate any and all ideas. Regards, T. Clawson Washington State
