You can order a copy of the newspaper through your local library. It is free and on microfilm. But don't expect too much. Obits were not all that common in those days. I know when my 2 great grandfather died in 1888, and ordered the papers for a couple of weeks aft that. Found nothing. Hope you find what you are looking for!
