    3. Am new to the list and need a bit of help/advice, please. Have just acquired copies (from LDS microfilm)of my great-grandfather's bankruptcy as entered in the Civil Docket Court records. He was forced to sell his house and I want to find a copy of the filed deed. There are no reels of microfilm for Leavenworth Co.'s deed records in the Family History Library catalog (that I can find). 1. Are there published indexes for deeds? 2. From whom would I acquire a copy of the deed - which court, and address? Thomas M. and Mary E. O'Brien owned the house, located on the W. side of Main betw. Osage & Pottawatomie. In the 1868/69 city directory, that section of Main was called Esplanade. The entry on the Civil Docket was for Dec. 21, 1869 - property sold Jan 8 1870 sale confirmed and deed indexed. Any assistance will be appreciated. Eleanor McCain Concord, NH [email protected]
