I ended up finding those records at the Kansas State Archives. You can contact them from their website, for a $15 search fee, they found a index that listed when he entered the prision, what he was charged with, what county he was convicted in and when he was released. Unfortunatly they do not have the Federal Prison records there. If you are looking for the State prison records, when you contact them, if there is any name spelling variance, I would put that in your request. They charge you the search fee regardless if they find the records or not. I had to have them to do a second search for another spelling, which they then found it. I found the state archives to be very helpful and it took no time for them to get the information to me. I haven't attempted to get the court records from the county yet, so not sure if they would have those also. Hope you have as good of luck. Jean
