    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, I just ran across an interesting Website, "Courthouse Experiences" http://www.bcpl.net/~dmg/courthouse.htm Not every county is listed, but the ones listed gave helpful information regarding the attitudes of those working in the courthouses. I might suggest that if you have had a positive or negative courthouse experience you add them to this site. I now know how to prepare myself for several courthouses I want to visit later this year. I have the text of the what was supposed to have been written but need to see the obit original if possible. Robert Montgomery Campbell lived in Atchinson Co KS for 23 years and died there.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fm.2ADE/354.1 Message Board Post: Linda I have not personally been to this cemetery, but I was able to get these directions from my copy of "Street Atlas USA, Version 8" Langley Cemetery is located NorthWest of Easton, on the north side of 7 Sisters Road, about half way between 247TH ST and 255TH ST..... Starting in Easton at 2ND ST and Hwy 192, head west on Hwy 192 about 0.5 miles, then go North West on CR13(Potter RD) about 1.3 miles, turn left on Woodard RD, go North West about 0.7 miles, then west on 7 Sisters RD about 0.5 miles. The cemetery should be on the NORTH side of the road, to your right. A couple of items that are not obvious from the above directions...... 1. CR 13 goes to the NW, Hyw 192 goes to the SW at a "Y" junction per the map. Before the junction, Hwy 192 is going NW out of town. 2. Woodard Road appears on the map to end at 247th ST. The 247TH ST goes several 100 feet NORTH into a left curve onto 7 Sisters Road. 7 Sisters Road does not go EAST of 247TH ST. An alternate route is to continue South West on Hwy 192 instead of taking CR 13. After about 3.1 miles, Hwy 192 will turn WEST, continue anothe 0.5 miles to 247TH ST and turn right (NORTH), continue north about 2 miles into the left turn at 7 Sisters Road and head West about 0.5 miles. Again, the cemetery will be on your right. ( If you miss the turn at 247th ST, continue west on Hwy 192 to 255TH ST, about 1 mile and turn right. Head north on 255TH ST about 2 miles and turn right onto 7 Sisters Road, head EAST about 0.5 miles and the cemetery will be on your left.) My intent was to scan the map and attach it to this message. However, the scanned map was less the legible. I will work on that this week end and post something Sunday evening. Hope this helps Dave Goldy Overland Park, Johnson Co., KS
