Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Hinton Chapel; burial in Brooking Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Mr. Pratt was born in Warm Springs, Ark., and moved to this area 33 years ago. He worked for Pyramid Life Insurance Co. for 35 years, retiring as a regional director in 1981. He earlier was a supervisor for Manor Bakery in Kansas City. He was a member of Kansas City Baptist Temple for 40 years; a member of its homebound visitors group; and a former head usher, Sunday school teacher and member of the church's finance committee. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Martha Pratt of the home; a son, Gene Pratt , Pocahontas, Ark.; a daughter, Glenda Sue Pratt , Overland Park; a stepson, Gary Toy, Weston in Platte County; two brothers, Zan Pratt , Pocahontas, and Jack Pratt , Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Mar! ie Roac h, Rockford, and Ouida McGlothan and Fern Reagan of Pocahontas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
