Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 5400 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS, 66208. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association Heartland Chapter, 3846 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS, 66208. Betty was born June 18, 1921 in Independence, KS, the daughter of Ralph and Martha Clark Taylor. She was a graduate of Pittsburg State University and had worked as a teacher. Mrs. Vance was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church since 1962, where she was active in the Womens Circles. She had lived most of her adult life in the Kansas City area. Betty married Roy Vance February 14, 1945, he survives of the home. Other survivors include two daughters, Linda Pate of Mar! yland Heights, MO, and Jill Seglie of Leavenworth, KS; and four grandsons. (Arrangements: D.W.
