The name of his wife or former wife was Winifred E. Brendel Laas. She died in December of 2007 and this clip was in her obituary: "She is survived by her sons Rick Laas of Cherokee, KS and Bob Laas and his wife Rebecca of Hillsdale, KS; grandson Jake Laas and granddaughter Michelle Hahn. Winnie was preceded in death by her parents; son John Laas and brother Charles Frederick Brendel, Jr." Any help with acquiring this obituary would be sincerely appreciated.
