Author: cmfears Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kansas.counties.johnson/771/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Oliver R. Nuckols was born July 1845 in Ross Co, Ohio to Robert A. Nuckols and Frances Wilkinson. He married Elizabeth Ann (maiden name unknown) about 1886, I believe in Kansas. Elizabeth was born Jan 1845 in Indiana. She was married to a Mr. White (1st name unknown), prior to her marriage to Oliver Nuckols. According to the 1900 KS Census - Johnson Co - Shawnee Twp., Oliver & Elizabeth had been married for 14 yrs. She had 6 children, 4 of whom were still living. Only child still at home was Eva White, born Jun 1884 in Iowa. According to the census Eva's father was born in Germany. Oliver & Elizabeth Nuckols both died in 1902 and are buried in the Antioch Pioneer Cemetery - Merriam, Johnson Co, KS. I would appreciate any information regarding the persons listed above. Thanks! Is there a newspaper in Shawnee Mission that would have carried an obit on Beulah C. (Randall) Walker who died October 25, 1982? If yes, could someone help me obtain a copy of the obit or give me instructions how I can get a copy. It would be very much appreciated.
