I need for Luther Nealey who was born 2 Feb 1897 Texas Co Missouri died Dec 1974 Shawnee Mission, Johnson Co. Kansas. His wife name was Lela; children Vivian, Evelyn, Wayman, Leon, and Norman. His mother was Caroline Mason I think, but I don't know who his father was. I think he was born out of wedlock. Caroline Mason married Henry Levi Nealey either in Wright or Texas Co. Missouri and I think Luther took that surname. He had sisters Ora, Bessie, Bertha, Mattie, and Myrtle. He had a step sister Sarah Nealey, step brothers James Wesley Nealey who was born 30 July 1888 died 1944 and he's buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Ks and another step brother Aaron Leonard Nealey b 20 Feb 1890. Trying to find out where his mother is buried, possibly in Kansas City either Wyandotte or Johnson County. She supposedly died in Kansas City and I'm thinking it might be in Kansas side since many of these children were in Wyandotte Co. Ks. She was born around 1874 in Monroe Co. Tennessee. Any help greatly appreciated. Carolyn Whitaker Johnson City, TN atsissie@aol.com Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
