The McLouth Times Friday November 4, 1949 The Happy Hour Club. The Happy Hour Club met Friday afternoon, Oct. 21st at the home of Myra Gladys WELLMAN with 9 of the 18 members present and one guest, Mrs. Bess SHARKEY. The meeting was called to order by the vice president, Myra Gladys Wellman. The clubs annual election was held and the following officers elected. President, Viola EDMONDS, vice president, Stella ROBINSON, secretary, Arlene GARNER, Treasurer, Wilma TATE. Edith LOBB received a gift from her pal. During the social hour, which followed the business meeting, two contests were held with Maudie GREER and Wilma TATE winning. The hostess, assisted by Bess SHARKEY, served refreshments consisting of light and dark sandwiches, waldorf salad, doughnuts, coffee and mints.
