The McLouth Times Jefferson County Friday April 21, 1950 Esther KELL, daughter of Benjamin and Lucy PERRY, was born August 24, 1867, in Seymour, Indiana, and died at her home in McLouth, April 13, 1950, at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 19 days. She moved to Kansas with her parents at the age of 2 months. She had four brothers and four sisters. Three sisters and two brothers have preceded her in death. She has one sister, Jennie EDMONDS, living in Canon City, Colorado. Two brothers, Amos of Lakeport, California, and Noah of Ronan, Montana. She was married to George A. KELL, March 1, 1887, and to this union were born three children, Clarence, Mabel and Earl. Her husband, daughter Mabel and son Earl have preceded her in death. Ester and George Kell lived for 50 years on the farm north and east of McLouth, which is still spoken of as the George Kell farm. She had been a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church for several years. Those who mourn her passing are, her son, Clarence and wife, Mrs. Lucy SEAVER, of McLouth, Marlin BELL, Lloyd BELL and Mrs. Esther BRIGHT, all of Kansas City, Kansas. Six great-grandchildren and a host of neighbors and friends.
