The McLouth Times Friday March 3, 1950 Mr. Clarence SEAVER underwent an appendectomy at the Lawrence Memorial hospital Thursday morning. Mrs. J.W. SEAVER accompanied Mrs. Clarence Seaver to Lawrence Memorial hospital Thursday morning to be near Clarence Seaver who underwent an operation that morning. Mrs. Clarence SEAVER and Mr. J. W. Seaver went to Lawrence Sunday to see Clarence Seaver. Clarence is to be dismissed from the Lawrence hospital Tuesday noon. Captain John JEFFRIES is participating with his unit, Battery "A", 537th Field Artilllery from Camp Carson, Colo., in a sub-Artic "combat" maneuver in the Yukon, a region long famous as one of the great outposts of advernture and exploration on the North American continent. Captain Jeffries is the husband of Mrs. June E. Jeffries, who lives at RR No. 2, McLouth, Kansas.
