The McLouth Times Jefferson County Friday March 10, 1950 Harry B. Ragan. Harry B. RAGAN, 73, of 10 East 56th Street, died Monday at the home. Mr. Ragan owned the Ragan Grain Co., from 1914 to 1947, when he retired. The commission company no longer exists. Mr. Ragan was born in Illinois and was reared in Exeter, Nebr. In 1903 he moved to McLouth, Kansas, where Mr. Ragan, his brother, Carl Ragan, and their father, Berkby Ragon, owned several grain elevators. Mr. Ragan moved to Kansas City in 1914 and organized the grain company. His sfather and brother joined the company in 1917. They died in 1939. Mr. Ragan was a member of the Lyra Masonic lodge in McLouth, the Ararat Shrine and the Royal Order of The Jesters of the Ararat Shrine. He played the trombone in the Shrine band. His wife, Mrs. Ada Ragan of the home survives.
