    3. The McLouth Times Jefferson County Friday August 18, 1950 John Fox. John FOX, was born in Frankfort Co., Kentucky, April 28, 1896, and died in Kansas University Medical Center, August 11, 1950, at the age of 54 years, 3 months and 13 days. He was the youngest of six children born to Rudolph Washington and Ida FOX. On October 30, 1915, he married Ruth Elizabeth ALGAR who survives him. To this union was born three children, all of whom survive him, Marjorie Louise DOWNS, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Betty Delores MOXLEY, Hawthorne, Wisconsin, and John E. FOX, McLouth, Kansas, and three grandchildren. Services were held from the Hampton Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, Sunday, August 13. Burial was in the McLouth Cemetery. (Page 3.) (Page 4.) John Fox Passed Away Friday. A large crowd attended the funeral services of John FOX, Sunday afternoon at the Hampton funeral home in Oskaloosa with Rev. J.W. Stalions, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Mr. Fox passed away Friday August 11, at the Kansas University hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, where he had been a patient for several months. He was 54 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Fox; one son, J.W. Fox, Jr., McLouth; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie THOMAS of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Becky MOXLEY of Nevada; and three grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Mr. Fox wa a devoted husband and father and a friend of all who knew him. The beautiful floral offerings spoke so well that he will be greatly remembered by his friends. Burial was made in the McLouth cemetery.
