The Valley Falls Vindicator Jefferson County Wednesday July 16, 1941 George W. Young. George W. YOUNG, 69, of Oskaloosa, died Saturday nighht in a Topeka hospital after an illnes of several years. He formerly lived on a farm near Winchester and was a past master of the Winchester Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Viola Young; two daughters, Mrs. Madeline EDMONDS, of Oskaloosa and Mrs. J.E. DONNELLY of Topeka; a son, Thomas Young, of Topeka; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Sarah LAWLESS of Winchester; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel SWOYER of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Ellen NIXON of Rocky Ford, Colo., and a half-brother, Paul Lawless of Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral services wil lbe Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Oskaloosa Methodist church with burial in the Wise cemetery at Winchester.
