It makes me very sad as he was my G.G.Grandfather whether I knew him or not. Actually my Mother who is 88 this July had told me that her Aunt told her that Ambrose killed himself, but I'm thinking she got that story wrong. Surely they both didn't kill themselves. Mother said her Grandpa Ambrose Beeler killed himself while in Kansas, and her Father Frank (Ambrose's son), drove his Mother,(Martha Smith Beeler) and siblings to South Mo. where she was reared, to be near her family. I went to the Topeka genealogy library a couple of years ago but didn't know enough about how to find info and was unable to find out where R.P. was buried, but I'll go back and look again. I bet he is buried in Topeka. I just have to keep looking.Ü I looked thru the cemetery books but they didn't have listings of graves in the outlying cemeteries, just the ones in town.
