    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday May 3, 1965 Charles Berg, 97, Meriden, Dies; Services on Tuesday. Charles BERG, 97, Meriden, died Sunday morning in a Topeka hospital. He had been ill about a month. He was born July 14, 1867 at Marietta, Ohio, and had lived at Meriden since January 1895, residing on the same farm during that time. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Berg, died Sept. 20, 1933. Mr. Berg was a member of the Meriden Methodist Church, and Meriden Masonic Lodge NO. 236, AF&AM. Survivors include two sons, Clarence Berg and John Berg, both of Meriden; a brother, Phillip Berg, Marietta, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Emma EPLER, Meriden, and Mrs. Mary WAGNER, Marietta, Ohio; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meriden Methodist Church with burial in Meriden Cemetery. Graveside services will be conducted by the Meriden Masonic Lodge, No. 236, AF&AM. Davidson-Eslinger-Duff Funeral Home, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
