The Valley Falls New Era Thursday August 19, 1909 Miss Maude CLARE, who has been visiting with friends here for some days, returned to her home in Topeka last week. Maude and her sister Frances, will teach the Willard schools the coming year. Miss Ethel JAMES, a pleasant young lady who has been making her home with her sister, Mrs. Stanley BOWEN, left on Tuesday of this week for Chattanooga, Tenn., where she expects to make her future home. James DENNY and his partner, Mr. (can't think of his name) are out here painting I. BOOTHS two barns, his residence, the stock sheds, poultry house, etc., making a bright and shiny appearance around that home. Mrs. Geo. BOOTH who stopped off on their way home from Colorado and visited a few weeks with her fathers family in Harvey county, has come on here and will soon be at home to their many friends in the Eastlike home.
