The Valley Falls New Era Thursday August 18, 1910 Mrs. Ollie LEWIS is at home after a nice visit with her sister, Mrs. BURKET at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. J.W. and I.W. HULL of McPherson are visiting their brother, Geo. W. who was seriously ill being threated with an attack of pneumonia last Sunday together with other ailments. Roy HIGGINS and wife of Onaga, visited his mother, Mrs. CARPENTER, near Rock Creek last week end and were guests at the New Century Saturday. They were married at Oskaloosa Wednesday of last week. Roy was born near Valley Falls, where his father, Ed Higgins, died a few years ago. Joy be theirs.
