The Valley Falls New Era Thursday August 25, 1910 Harry WARD of Mayetta called on his banker here Wednesday and went out in Bolton district to visit his wife's sister, Mrs. Samuel JUDD and his father-in-law, H.G. TALCOTT. Mr. Ward is farming on the Pottawatomie reserve having leases on Indian lands. He tells us that commission contracts similar to those McMurray holds in Oklahoma, have been made for the sale of the Jackson county Indian lands, but that since the McMurray disclosures, the lands are off the market.
