The Valley Falls New Era Thursday August 11, 1910 Mrs. J. LOWMAN was called to Osage county yesterday on account of the death of her brother's wife, Mrs. COLLINS. Miss Pearl EVANS is expected home from Indiana Friday. She spent Thursday in Oskaloosa attending the old settlers reunion. Herbert ROYER and wife retured here yesterday from a visit with her aunt, Mrs. SMITH is Osborn county. This ends his vacation and back to Topeka he will continue his work at the P.O. Will ROYER and Curt WOOD were looking at some farms near Topeka Tuesday and Wednesday, one of which Curt may buy. They noticed taht the roads were very muddy and the Kaw river was up. To provide to his increasing business Bert McCLURE is building a 9x30 oil house on the Santa Fe right of way north of the Standard Oil tanks fo rstoring stocks of oil.
