The Valley Falls New Era Jefferson County Thursday August 4, 1910 Mrs. John MILLER of Valley Falls, died July 26th, 1910, of Bright's disease and was buried at the Catholic cemetery at Seneca on the 28th. The funeral services were held at Valley Falls, conducted by her Father Anthony, O.S.B. The remains were accompanied to Seneca by her husband, John Miller, a sister, Mrs. Wm. SHUPE, of Doniphan, Kas., JOhn BUSSE of St. Paul, Kas., and Father Anthony, Henry KOEHLER and Will STOCKHOFF of Valley Falls. Ella M. ROBLEY was born in Atchison, August 27th, 1872 and was taken by her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ROBLEY of Seneca, when about 17 months old and had made her home with them until the time of her marriage to Mr. Miller which occurred Jan. 13, 1893. Mrs. Miller was known as an exceptionally good woman and was much loved by those who had assisted in taking care of her in her illnes, which was of five months duration, for her gentleness and patience, as was shown by the large attendeance at her huneral at both Valley Falls and Seneca. A Card. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ROBLEY of Seweca, and Mrs. Shupe of Doniphan, Kansas, desire to express their thanks to the friends and neighbors who assisted in the illness and death of their niece, and sister, Mrs. John Miller, and especially the ladies of the Altar society of which she was a member. A Card. Mr. John Miller takes this means of expressing his thanks to the friends and neighbors who assisted in caring for his wife during her illness and death.
