The Valley Falls New Era Jefferson County Thursday September 8, 1910 Miss Lela COPPINGER and Mr. Evan BOYD were married at the home of the bride's father at eight o'clock Wednesday eveing, August 31, Rev. J.D. Zimmerman officiating. Ice cream, cake and punch were served after congratulations. Mrs. Boyd is the youngest daughter of W.B. Coppinger and has been her father's housekeeper the past two years and Mr. Boyd is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Boyd. A reception was tendered the happy pair Thursday evening at the home of the groom's parents and Saturday they left for a trip to Colorado Springs. Those present from abroad were: Mr. and Mrs. CHARLES of Seneca, C. Coppinger and family and Ed SLOOP and family of Lyndon, Miss Catherine McDERMOND of Nortonville and relatives from McLouth.
