The Meriden Message Jefferson County Friday September 25, 1931 Henry Clay BAYNE, 57, died last Friday at his home, 3.5. miles southeast of Williamstown following an illness of but two hours, with acute indigestion. Burial was on Saturday in the family lot ont he farm, where Mr. Bayne was born and spent his life. Services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Holderfield, of Lawrence. Deceased is survived by his wife. His father W.G. BAYNE, was sheriff of Jefferson county in 1879.
