The Meriden Message Jefferson County Friday September 11, 1931 Ralph Austin NOEL was born Nov. 6, 1916, at Thayer, Kansas, and died Aug. 31, 1921, at his home near Rock Creek, aged 14 years, nine months. He was the victim of a stroke of lightning. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Noel, one brother, Richard, and by three sisters, Amie, Isa and Marjorie. Ralph graduated from the grade school last spring and intended to enter high school this fall. He was a member of the St. Paul class of the U.B. church, and active in church work among the younger group. Held in high esteem throughout the community. Ralph was a genial lad, a good and obedient son and a kind brother. Funeral services were held in the U.B. church at Rock Creek and burial was in Valley Falls cemetery.
