Bert HINCHMAN, about 50 years of age, a former resident of Winchester, was accidently killed Wednesday while on a deer hunt in Texas, friends in Jefferson county, have been notified. Details of the accident are lacking. Mr. Hinchman was born and reared at Winchester, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cary Hinchman, pioneers. For a number of years he was owner of telephone exchanges at Nortonville and Valley Falls, leaving the latter place a few years ago for Brenham, Tex. Burial will be in the Texas town. Aside from his widow, Mr. Hinchman is survived by his brothers, Walter Hinchman, Kansas City; Eddie Hinchman, Lawrence, Kas.; sisters, Mrs. Edward LEMON, Lawrence, and Mrs. O.O. CLARK, Junction City.
