The McLouth Times Friday November 19, 1909 L.J. WILLITS of near McLouth, is one of those thrifty farmers who have, in a measure, solved the labor question on the farm. Mr. Willits is an habitual early riser and it is not unfrequent that he is out in his field by lantern light during the fall and early winter days. A load of corn, amounting to 34 or 40 bushels is often gathered by Mr. Willits before breakfast. Thus it is seen that Mr. Willits is not wholly at the mercy of hired help in caring for his crops. Instead of fooling away his time with an automobile or some other hobby he is industriously engaged in garnering his crops.
