    1. [KSJEFFER] Marriage: BOWMAN--FOSTER

    3. The McLouth Times Jefferson County Friday December 3, 1909 Bowman--Foster. At high noon Thursday, Thanksgiving day, at the home of bride, Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Bowman, was celebrated the marriage of their daughter, Miss Vera and J.B. FOSTER of Eldorado, Kansas. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E.E. McAferty in the presence of the immediate family and a few friends. The bride wore white Paris muslin princess gown beautifully trimmed in French Val lace and carried a boquet of bride's roses. The house was prettily decorated with cut flowers and ferns. After the ceremony and congratulations, all present repaired to the dining room and enjoyed a most sumptious turkey dinner. McLouth has been the home of the bride all her life. Here she grew to beautiful womanhood and in her modest way made warm friends with all whom she associated. This community's loss of this jewell will not soon be forgotten, and the gain to the young Kansan and the community to which he takes her will be most fortunate. Mr. and Mrs. Foster will reside in Eldorado, Kansas where he is one of the hustling young business men of that place. They left on the evening train for a few days' trip before going to their home. The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Fred BOWMAN of Eldorado, Kans., Mr. and Mrs. Matt BOWMAN and Mrs. Harry JONES of Tonganoxie, Kans., and Mrs. Woods of Kansas City, Mo.
