The Meriden Message Jefferson County Friday November 13, 1931 Mrs. Whitlock Dead. Mrs. Elizabeth WHITLOCK, 62, died at Topeka hospital Monday after an illness of four months. Mrs. Whitlock was born October 23, 1869, in Marietta, O., and came to Shawnee county with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jacob DAUBER, in 1878. She had made her home in Topeka for the last eight years. She was a member of the German Lutheran church. She is survived by two sons, Fred Whitlock, Topeka, Sterling Whitlock, Meriden; a daughter, Mrs. Cecil ROWE, Lyons; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine KOENITZER and Mrs. H.N. SWICKARD, Meriden; Mrs. Wallace GRIFFITH, Topeka; Mrs. Charles HOWE, Hoyt; two brothers, Jacob and Fred DAUBER, Meriden; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Meriden Methodist church, in charge of Rev. H.K. Evans. Burial in the Meriden cemetery.
