The Meriden Message Friday January 9, 1931 Ozawkie. Miss Evelyn HYSTEN underwent an operation for appendicitis at St. Francis hospital Wednesday morning. Mr. DAVIS and children are visiting with her sister, Mrs. Ellen PUDERBAUGH and family. Mrs. Mary KRAMER is reported quite ill at this writing. Mr. Zelma SMITH returned to her home in Nevada, Mo., last Thursday. Her mother, Mrs. R. E. METZGER and Mrs. Eva METZGER accompanied her home. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse PATTERSON have moved to the home of her father. Mr. John ROOT and are at home to their friends. Mrs. S.A. METZGER visited th past week with relatives in Valley Falls.
