    3. The Valley Falls New Era Thursday November 3, 1910 Meriden Items. Joe COFFEY who had been working in Emporia has been home for the past two weeks on account of illness. Mrs. James WILSON of Topeka and Mrs. Sam'l ALLEN spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. PORTZ. Fred TRIPP bought the fine three and four year old mares of H.B. CHACEY the first of the week. This is a fine black team and weigh 1500 lbs. each. Mrs. TRIPP who has been visiting with her sons, John TRIPP at Milburn, Wyo., and G.H. TRIPP at Mt. View, Wyo., arrived here Tuesday monring and is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Dena CHUBB. Mrs. Dena CHUBB has been on the sick list this week suffering form an attack of ingestion.
