    1. Re: [KSJEFFER] Introduction
    2. You didn't say what you wanted to know about the Van Metre or Lindsay families, neither of which appear (so far) on my family tree. However, I checked the Jefferson County Genealogical Society's book, "Tombstone Inscriptions and Burials, Jefferson County, Kansas, 1854-1986," and found about a dozen folks named LINDSAY plus a couple of LINDSEY listings. Let me know if you're interested in more information about any of these people. I didn't see a Bailey or a Cora listed. I only found one VAN METER: VAN METER, Percy Norton, see NORTON, Percy. RHVF The RHVF is the abbreviation for the cemetery in which Percy is buried. I also checked the Jeffco Gen Soc's book, "Marriage Licenses of Record, Jefferson County, Kansas, 1855-1930," and found about half a dozen listings variously spelled LINDSAY, LINDSEY, and LINSEY (sometimes within the same record). If you think any of this information might be helpful, let me know, and I'll be happy to do specific lookups for you. Happy hunting. Jan T
