The Oskaloosa Times Jefferson County Friday September 29, 1899 Mr. Josiah LAMB was buried at Meriden last Sunday morning, aged 82 years, 5 months and 6 days. He was a citizen of Jefferson county for many years. The funeral was preached, Sunday at 11 a.m. by Rev. S.C. Coblentz, of Topeka, Kas., one of his former pastors assisted by Rev. J.L. Thompson, his present pastor. The funeral was very largely attended and showed the high regard the people had for Mr. Lamb.
