Thurday evening August 31 relatives gathered at the Emmett THOMPSON home in Oskaloosa to surprise Mrs. Thompson and her son Fred on their birthday. Ice cream and cake were served. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thompson, Winchester; Mr. and Mrs. Frank THOMAS and Linda, Valley Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Thompson, Oskaloosa; Mr. and Mrs. John White, Mr. and Mrs. S.E.
