The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday August 25, 1965 Mary Schroetter. Mrs. Mary D. SCHROETTER, 73, Meriden, died Wednesday in a Topeka nursing home after a long illness. She was born Feb. 12, 1892, at Meriden and had lived in the Grove and Meriden communites all her life. Mrs. Schroetter taught school at Olive Grove and Meriden for many years. She was a member of the Meriden Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Arthur, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma DRESNER, San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Grace CAPS, Tullahoma, Tenn.; a brother Gilbert SECHRIST, Lincoln, Neb.; and four grandchildren. Service arrangements are pending at Parker Mortuary. Burial will be in Meriden cemetery.
