The Oskaloosa Times Friday March 2, 1900 Talk of A Suicide Club. There is strong talk of organizing a suicide club in oppostion to Ed HOWE's "Don't Worry" club. The advocates of the suicide club contend that it is as natural for some people to worry as it is for water to run down hill; that the joining of "Don't Worry" clubs or any other kind of club would not affect them in the least. They say the only way for such people to escape the evil effects of worry is for them to commit suicide. They think there are cases in which suicide would not only be courageous but honorable.
