The Oskaloosa Times Friday June 9, 1899 Perry Items. John SAMPLES was a Kansas City visitor Monday. Misses Katie SAMPLES and Daisy EMMERT visited in Oskaloosa with Atty. RAINES and wife last week. Will SHULZE and wife spent last Sunday in the country at the home of Cy KATHAN and wife. John McCLURE, superintendent of the Osborn college at Osborn, Kansas, visited friends in town Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs. Mattie GRIFFIN and children of Lawrence, are visiting with Mrs. Griffin's parents, Jasper WILSON and wife this week. Mrs. J.P. KUNKLE and daughter, Ida, are contemplating a trip to the mountains in a few days, for the benefit of Mrs. Kunkle's health.
