The Valley Falls New Era Jefferson County Thursday July 29, 1909 Louisa Catherine KING was born April 15, 1836 in Green county, Ill. Died at Denison, Kansas, July 20, 1909. She was married in 1854 to Jacob TRIBBLE and nine children were born to them, two sons and three daughters survive her. Jacob Tribble died in St. Joseph in 1881 and on September 25, 1885, Mrs. Tribble married J.H. TRUEMAN who is left to mourn the death of a faithful companion. Four sisters and a brother also survive her. Mrs. Trueman has lived a Christian life in this community for 24 years. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday July 22, at 10 a.m. by Rev. Hugg in the M.E. church, interment being made in the afternoon in the Holton cemetery.
