The Oskaloosa Times Friday May 12, 1899 Perry item. E.H. STEWART and W.E. ALEXANDER, of Leavenworth, were in Perry last Thursday on the hunt for E.H. Stewart's team, buggy and harness, stolen from their place four miles west of Leavenworth last Monday night, May 1st. One horse was a dark brown, weight 1000 pounds. The other, iron grey, weight 800 pounds. The buggy was an open one, Milwaukee make, harness light weight. A liberal reward has been offered for the capture of the thieves or property.
