Mr. Nicholas GAHM and Miss Leta SHIVELY slipped away to Topeka and were quietly married by the Probate Judge of Shawnee County Wednesday, May 18, 1910. The ceremony was witnessed by his sisters, Mrs. M. WARNER and Miss May Gahm, whom the bridal couple were visiting. Mr. Gahm is the expert baker at the city bakery in this city, and a steady earnest young man without any wild oats notions, while the bride is one of our popular young ladies in the Sophomore class, but as to graduating preferred matrimony rather than latin. May they be Gahm to the last and every live happily together.
