    1. HAWKINS - REWICK Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Elizabeth Augusta REWICK (HAWKINS) which was taken at the Kruse & Roberts Studio in Oskaloosa, Kansas. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's with Elizabeth likely in her 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. In addition to her name, someone has also written Barbara's Grandmother and the word "Bracelet". I'm guessing based on the notation that her maiden name was HAWKINS and her married name REWICK. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place with the family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

She was united in marriage to Wm. A. TROTH on February 17th, 1875, near Memphis, Mo., and to this union were born seven children, all of whom with the husband are left to mourn a devoted wife and loving mother. Mrs. Troth's health has never been the best in Oklahoma and she has been afflicted with rheumatism for some time, but the immediate cause of her death was congestion of the brain. There were eight of the Fowler children and the death of Mrs. Trothis the first break in the family. Of a cheerful and hopeful disposition Mrs. Troth was a universal favorite wherever she lived and was loved by all her acquaintances. May she reap a rich reward.
