The Oskaloosa Times Friday July 27, 1900 Judge Dick's Court. A marriage license was issued July 25th to Louis E. KOEHLAR, of Rock Creek, and Ella CLAIR, of Ozawkie. They were married the same day in the office, by Judge Dick. Jully 21st, John BOYLE was appointed administrator of the estate of Alpheus NORMAN. On the 23rd, Rosa SIBEL was appointed guardian of Mabel B. SIBEL and others. On the 26th, marriage licenses were granted as follows: To O.C. LEGAN and Stella ROBINSON, both of Boyle, Kansas. To Thomas ADAMSON and Lucy F. HULETT, both of Eaton, Kansas. The judge performed the ceremony for the last named couple. Judge DICK has been somewhat under the weather for the past few days.

The Oskaloosa Times Friday July 20, 1900 Judge Dick's Court. During the week Judge Dick issued marriage licenses to the following couples: Henry DARK and Etta BOWMAN, both of McLouth. Edward CHURCH and Rhoda LITTON, both of Oskaloosa. Last Saturday Ernest GEOFFERT was ordered to the Topeka asylum for treatment of apoplectic fits. Considerable routine business was also attended to.

McPROUND, principal; Walter SMITH, teacher; Miss Sarah WHALEY, teacher; Miss Maud MEHAFFIE, teacher; Mrs. Mary KIRKHAM, teacher; Miss Fanc VanCLEAVE, teacher. C.B. BRYANT will be principal of the colored school. An additional grade school has been added in the Grammer school, making nine grades.

The Oskaloosa Times Friday July 6, 1900 Judge Dick's Court. Application has been made for the appointment of A.J. PERRY as administrator of the estate of Alpheus NORMAN. The judge performed the marriage ceremony of Jeff PARNELL and Clara UNFRED, both of Williamstown on the 4th.
The Oskaloosa Times Jefferson County Friday June 29, 1900 King-Ferguson. At high noon, Tuesday, June 19, at the residence of the bride's father, Charles King, on their goodly acred farm two miles east of the city, occurred the marriage of their daughter Nellie to Mr. R.W. Ferguson. Just at 12 o'clock, to the time of a beautiful wedding march, the blushing bride was led to the altar, where they were safely joined by an impressive ceremony, Rev. Shoptaugh officiating, after which came the usual round of congratulations. The doors of the spacious dining room were then thrown open, and all partook of the bounties of the farm. Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson will go to housekeeping.--New Era.
The Oskaloosa Times Friday June 29, 1900 Judge Dick's Court. On the 23rd Jeff PARNELL secured a license to wed Clara B. UNFRED. The young people are from Williamstown. Judge Dick issued a marriage license to E.E. HICKS and Amy F. PECK, both of Easton, and performed the ceremony for them on the 25th. Peck used to work for the judge, and promised him he would go to him to be married. Chas. STEEPER has filed a settlement as administrator. Harry LILLIE filed a guardians statement during the week.

The Oskaloosa Times Friday June 22, 1900 Judge Dick's Court. A license was issued to W.R. GERGUSON and Nellie KING, both of Valley Falls, on the 16th. W.H. NATION, of Erie, secured a license on the 19th to wed Eva GUNN, of Valley Falls. On th 19th, J.H. SOWERS secured a license to marry Laura CARTER, of Winchester. Elizabeth JAMES was adjudged of unsound mind, on the 16th, by a jury of six good and true men. Nellie James was appointed her guardian, also guardian of Ray James. J.H. WILHELM was appointed administrator of the estate of Levi Wilhelm, deceased, on the 20th. Martha MURPHY was appointed guardian of her minor children.

The Oskaloosa Times Friday June 8, 1900 Judge Dick's Court. On the 2nd M.L. FUNK, of Blackwell, Okla., secured a license to wed Annie PARISH, of Valley Falls. Benedix & Co., of Meriden, were granted a liquor permit, on the 4th. R.B. TERRY and Bertha GREGORY, came up from Meriden on the 4th, secured a license and were married by the judge. On the 6th, Wm. STOUT filed his final settlement as executor of the estate of Sarah KENYON, deceased. A will of Robert CRITCHFIELD was filed for probate on the 7th, by Chas. F. JOHNSON.
