The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thursday October 1, 1914 Mrs. BURDEAUX, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. DONNELLY, on the reservation, died Wednesday, from old age. She was a remarkable old lady being of a rugged, healthful character. She died at the age of 95 years and 10 months. She was born in Indiana and was of a French decent. She was one of those characters who found much pleasure in smoking a pipe. She leaves two sons, and one daughter, Jack and James QUIRK and Mrs. Wm. DONNELLY. The funeral was held Thursday morning at the Catholic church at Hoyt and interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Father McKena, of Holton, officiated. J.M. Goheen was funeral director.
