The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thursday August 13, 1914 Grandma White Cloud, who died last week on the reservation, was one of the full blood Iowa Indians, on our reservation. There are several full blood Indians, but they do not belong wholly to the Iowa tribe. Grandma White Cloud was born at the Indian Mission near Highland and was about 67 years of age. A very short time bofore her death she was converted to the Christian religion and received a Christian burial in baptism. Her parents' original home was in Mississippi.
