The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thursday September 24, 1914 Mrs. Martha EARL died Sunday night at 12 o'clock. She was at the home of her brother, James DAUGHERTY. Same Newspaper; October 1,1914 Mrs. Martha Earl died at the home of her brother, James Daugherty, west of Mayetta, September 20, at the age of 40 years, 8 months and 20 days. She was born in Moultrie, Ill. She has been an intense sufferer for the last two months. The funeral services were conducted from the rest house at the Holton cemetery and were in charge of Dr. J.W. Waldron. The music was furnished by the Dynamo quartette.
