The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thursday December 17, 1914 Thomas Harold WATERS, the seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. T.P. Waters, died Saturday morning at about eleven o'clock from membraneous croup. He had had a cold for several days and took worse Saturday morning. A doctor was summoned but the boy died before he arrived. The funeral was held at the house Sunday at 11:00 o'clock. Rev. Plowman of the Mission church officiating. The body was laid to away in the Brick cemetery, as the cold blustry wind blew, being almost beyond human endurance.
