The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thursday January 6, 1916 Peterson--Chalmers. A pretty home wedding took place Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis PETERSON, when their daughter, Edith Adelia, was married to Mr. Chester Clyde CHALMERS. The service was read by Dr. J.E. Kirkpatrick, an uncle of the bridegroom. Only relatives and close friends witnessed the ceremony. The bride formerly attended the State Normal school at Emporia, Kan., and since then has been in the office of the Western School Journal. Mr. Chalmers is a graduate of the Topeka high school and of Washburn college. Mr. and Mrs. Chalmers will make their home in Mayetta, Kan., where Mr. Chalmers is principal of the high school.--Topeka State Journal.
