The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thurday February 10, 1916 School House Burns. The school house in the Point Pleasant district caught fire last Wednesday morning, before school time, from burning coals falling on the floor from the stove. When the teacher arived and spread the alarm the fire had gained such headway that it could bot be controlled.
